Coaching Philosophy My personal coaching philosophy is to teach each player both hockey and life skills and to develop players as individuals and as a team. I believe in focusing on fundamental skill development like (passing, shooting and skating) I will also to the best of my ability seek to bring a love for the game and a sense of organizational pride and identity to all our players.
Certification/ Experience/ Other Highlights NCCP Coach - Level 1&2 Theory Tryout evaluator for KC teams from Novice to Midget from 2007-09 Played AA-AAA from Peewee-Midget Instructed a two-week Leadership Training course to teens aged 15-18 from 2004-08 Experience as a professional youth worker over the last 12 years working with teens ages 12 to 18
Assistant Coaches Jeremy Romaniuk- Jeremy has Coached with KC in the Sabers program for the past 5 years and has been the coach of the Top Sabres team for the past two years. Jeremy brings a wealth of experience and is excited about his new role with the Bantam AA program. James Wiwad- James has been an assistant coach for the past two season with the top sabres team. James grew up as a goalie and will be working with the Shamrocks goaltenders this upcoming season.
Goals for the 2009/2010 Hockey Season My goals for the
Bantam AA Shamrocks is to have a team that shows commitment, Discipline
and a passion for the game. We will do the " little things" well and do
them often and we will be competitive. If we are committed to these
things than winning should follow. |
